W sobotę, 14 czerwca 2025 r. na Zamku Królewskim w Warszawie odbyła się uroczysta gala wręczenia dyplomów laureatom i laureatkom programu START, którzy zdobyli stypendium w edycji 2025.
Stypendia START są przyznawane przez Fundację na rzecz Nauki Polskiej młodym badaczkom i badaczom (do 30 r.ż), którzy mają na swoim koncie wybitne osiągnięcia naukowe. Celem tej inicjatywy jest wspieranie najzdolniejszych młodych uczonych i zachęcanie ich do dalszego rozwoju naukowego. W tym roku stypendia zostały wręczone już po raz 33!
Prof. Magdalena Fikus i Robert Firmhofer zostali laureatami Wyróżnienia im. prof. Macieja W. Grabskiego przyznawanego przez Fundację na rzecz Nauki Polskiej za działania na rzecz rozumienia nauki w społeczeństwie, budowania zaufania do wiedzy naukowej oraz przybliżania wpływu nauki i uczonych na rozwój cywilizacyjny Polski.
