Donate 1.5% of your tax to the Foundation for Polish Science to fund scholarships.

To allocate 1.5% of your tax to young scientists, enter the following information in the appropriate section of your tax return (PIT-28, PIT-36, PIT-36L, PIT-37, PIT-38, or PIT-39):

Who Can Donate 1.5%?

Under the current regulations, 1.5% of tax can be allocated to a public benefit organization by:

  • Personal income (PIT) taxpayers
  • Flat-rate taxpayers
  • Lump-sum taxpayers
  • Individuals earning income from financial markets (stock exchange and other investments)
  • Individuals earning income from the real estate market

In other words, anyone filling PIT-28, PIT-36, PIT-36L, PIT-37, PIT-38.

How Do We Use the 1.5% Tax Donations?

We allocate all funds from 1.5 tax contributions to the START programme stipends, including those for top candidates whose reseach achievements have been rated the highest by competition reviewers.

  • The standard scholarship amount is PLN 30,000.
  • The enhanced scholarship - awarder to sistinguished laureates - amount to PLN 38,000.

Your 1.5% tax donation enables the most talented young scientists to fully dedicate themselves to research.
