Attachments to IRAP FENG applications with a page limit should be completed in such a way that the text presented in the attachment does not exceed the limit of pages. The limit does not include the title page as long as no text other than the name of the head researcher and the title of the project - if such fields are foreseen in the form.
In the case of ‘How to Manage Conflict of Interest’ form, the page limitation should be understood as it is indicated in the Application Guide - that is, the 1 page limitation applies to the second part of the form - it does not include the tables.
Applications should be completed in Polish. The exception is the confirmation from the European Commission that the project has been awarded a Seal of Excellence or a grant under Teaming for Excellence conducted by the European Commission as part of Horizon Europe. In addition, if the Letter of Intent from the partner unit was drawn up in a language other than Polish - the letter and its certified translation into Polish must be attached to the application.
According to the Criteria for Project Selection, a foreign partner unit can be any unit with legal personality or autonomy in terms of contracting. As indicated in the Instructions to completing the application, the attachment ‘Letter of intent from a foreign partner unit’ should therefore be signed by: a. A person authorised to represent the unit, i.e. by the Rector - in the case of Universities, the Director in the case of independent institutes; or b. A person authorised by the Head of the partner unit - in this case, the authorisation issued by the Head of the partner unit (rector/director) should be attached; orc. A person authorised to represent a partner unit which is an independent part of another institution (e.g. a centre within a university structure which can conclude partnership agreements on its own). In such a situation, a document should be attached confirming that the unit can independently conclude agreements with foreign partners.
