Winners of the FOR UKRAINE Programme

The project's title is “Activating Change: Empowering Youth Civic Engagement among Forced Migrants and Internally Displaced Populations in Poland and Ukraine”. The two scholars wish to examine the civil involvement dynamics among the Ukrainian youth who have experienced migration in Poland and internal displacement in Ukraine. The project will focus on persons aged 15–18 years. The researchers will analyze their participation in the life of their schools and local communities as well as the entire society. The aim is to understand how young people cope with difficulties, interact with social structures, and take the opportunities to become involved in civil and society-oriented activities. The research will cover in-depth interviews and focus group interviews carried out in four cities in Poland (Warsaw, Siedlce, Rzeszów, and Tarnobrzeg) and in Ukraine (Lviv, Truskavets, Uzhhorod, and Mukachevo).
