Invitation to FNP conference ?SKILLS for Modern Scientists: How to effectively support researcher development??

"We cordially invite you to participate in the international conference ?SKILLS for Modern Scientists: How to effectively support researcher development?? organized by the Foundation for Polish Science as part of its SKILLS* project. The conference will be held on 23?24 November 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel, ul. Prusa 2, Warsaw. The conference will be devoted to the theme of developing the potential of researchers and supporting them in their career growth. The speakers will address topics connected with the process of peer review of applications, interdisciplinary cooperation, technology transfer, and the social responsibility of science. The discussion panels will include such researchers as prof. Franklin Carrero-Martinez from the National Science Foundation (USA), dr José Labastida from ERCEA (Belgium), dr Fabrice Vallée from CNRS (France), dr Eppo Bruins from STW (the Netherlands), dr Szymon Talbierz, CEO of Svanvid Ltd (Poland), and Dr. Marcin Grynberg from Citizens of Academia (Poland).

 15:30 ? 16.00 Summary of the conference 16:00              Closing of the conference   Anyone who is unable to attend the conference in person is encouraged to view the online transmission of the event on the Foundation?s Youtube channel. The transmission will begin at 14:30 am on the first day of the conference and 9:30 am on the second day. The conference will be conducted in English.
