"Magdalena Chułek's book Jak wytwarzany jest slums? Studium przypadku mieszkańców Kibery i Korogocho w Nairobi (How is a slum created?: A case study of Kibera and Korogocho inhabitants in Nairobi) has been nominated for the Marcin Król Award for the best book published in 2023 on the topic of the history of ideas and research in the aspects of the future, philosophy, social and political thought, reflections on civilization and culture, introducing new ideas, concepts, and ways of thinking.
