Prof. Marek Samoć wins 2019 SCF French-Polish Prize

"We are pleased to report that one of the Foundation?s laureates, Prof. Marek Samoć, has been awarded the 2019 French?Polish Prize of the Société Chimique de France.  The award was given in recognition of Prof. Samoć?s eminent works on the nonlinear optics properties of inorganic and organometallic compounds, conjugated polymers and quantum dots. Prof. Marek Samoć is a laureate of several FNP programmes. In 2016 he received the Foundation for Polish Science Prize in the chemical and material sciences for research on nanostructural materials for nonlinear optics. He is also a laureate of the WELCOME programme (2008) and the MISTRZ/MASTER programme (2013). More information:
